Many Christians can remember when they first heard the rumour that Bob Dylan had become a Christian. There was rejoicing all over Christendom, yet the inherently reclusive Dylan gave very little inkling as to what had actually happened in his life, preferring to speak only through his song writing. Still, many of us rushed out and bought Slow Train Coming eagerly and we were not disappointed!
Inspired by a performance he saw at Parachute Festival in New Zealand in Jan 2007, long time Dylan fan Guryel Ali (pronounced GOO REE AL) felt he should put together a band and record the Gospel songs of Bob Dylan. This CD is the result.

Guryel has put together a band of great Christian musicians and singers, which includes Rod Gear, one of the founding members of Sons of Korah.
