About the Book

Do you struggle with family devotions? Do you long to help your children develop values such as honesty and perseverance? This book will encourage and inspire you to give your children the priceless gift of values. This first Volume focuses on Honesty, Right Attitudes, Courage, Perseverance, Diligence and Obedience. Part one of a planned series of four books, one for each season of the year.

This is the first book published by HSM Publishing. Great effort has gone into making this a special release. The book has been designed to look like a classic old leather style hardcover from a century ago, to emphasis the theme of ‘old fashioned values.” It has gold foil on the cover and spine and the paper inside is ivory to futher enhance the classic hardcover.

About the Author

Rosie lives with her husband, Chris, and their six children, Josiah, Kate, Eliza, Emily, Samuel and Jacob in a barn in Whangarei , New Zealand (while they build a new family home). Rosie spent three years as a young child in Papua New Guinea, where her parents were missionaries. After graduating from her nursing training, she spent a year in Borneo as a missionary. It was here that Chris came to visit her and declare his love - the rest is history!

Rosie and Chris are singer/songwriters, and have had the joy of encouraging and challenging Christians in many different countries. They have released a number of CD’s which are available on their web site. Rosie has also published a children’s book, The Happy Prince. Rosie is a sought after speaker at women’s conferences, missions and home-schooling conventions, and churches, where she loves to speak about her passions - missions, family, and Jesus.
